Why conduct pull out testing?

Do you want to avoid construction malfunctions in your property? Worried that varying temperatures could have caused fixings to become weak and loose? Our pull out testing services are there to help.

Normally performed to establish the strength of fixings that have been installed or fitted into walls, our pull out tests are vital for commercial buildings, railways and airports.

There are many factors that can affect the strength and durability of eyebolts, anchor bolts, scaffold ties, stud anchors, resin bolts and safety wires, so it is vital that they are regularly checked and tested. This is especially the case when visual inspection is just not enough.

Having worked in the industry for more than 26 years, our highly skilled and professional team utilise their vast experience to provide you with the very best pull out testing services.

How does it work?

Our pull out testing involves attaching a small piece of equipment to the exterior bolt, nut, screw or fixing. This is then pulled to the designated stress load level to determine how strong and secure the fixing is. Even though materials used for bonding may be different, this method remains the same for all types of fixings.

This type of service enables early diagnosis of potential strength problems and although we cannot help with the building work should your fixings fail our test, we can provide honest and impartial advice as to what to do and who to speak to.
